I have a set curriculum and activities lined up for each term, we do different activities throughout the year as i adapt my lessons to my students and what they like to do. All club terms go for 9 weeks, start in the second week and end on the last week of regular school terms.

I accept kids aged 10-15 or year 6 to year 10 but i am flexible. There is a maximum of 10 members as i find smaller groups easier to connect with.

It takes place in the Pohutukawa room at the Devonport community centre from 3:45-5:15pm every Wednesday.

I will provide each member with the following which is included in the fee:

  • An A3 Pad

  • 4x HB Pencils

  • an Eraser

  • 2x Fine liner pens

  • a Ruler

Message From The Teacher:

I wanted to share with you why I started this club and what I would want you to get out of it. When I was growing up, doodling and scribbling was sort of my thing, but I hadn't realised it yet. I used to draw all over my school books, if there was a pen in my hand I'd be using it. The reason I never tried very hard at it until after school despite my friends and family telling me I had potential was that I thought I wasn't any good and it was too hard to get better. I wish I had realised sooner that I didn't have to be born with any skill (even if i was) I just needed to really want to be that good, theres no need to feel bad for making mistakes because its the practice that matters and the feeling it gives you to complete something. I don't mean to sound cheesy, i just want to create a comfortable environment where you can learn how to develop your skills in your own time and where you don't need to impress anyone but yourself.

Please feel free to email, call or text me.
